Photo blog week 1:
I was visiting my cousins house on Wednesday, and she had just redecorated her bedroom. She had this really pretty dream catcher hanging from the lamp on her beside table, and I liked how the light casting behind it made it seem as if the dream catcher itself was just a shadow. I also gave the photo a blurry appearance and brought it out of focus so the details came across as soft.
I captured this shot a few days ago when I was bored and skimming through my big book of Shakespeare plays. I made myself a cup of tea and sat down to read, but before I did, I took this shot because I liked how I had the book angled, and just the overall simplicity of it.
Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I were driving to go pick up a pizza pie that we had ordered for dinner. When he turned out and onto the road, this was the sky above the trees. I quickly snapped this picture because I loved the color of the sky, as well as the wispiness and pinkness of the clouds. In contrast to the sky, I like how the outline of the trees appear as dark shadows.
